The Aeternitas Collections

Aeternitas Collections comes from a project that was started as a result of the historic Pandemic in 2020. I had been an avid ancient coin collector for the last decade and some, but as my collection started to grow, I did not pay heed to the importance of attributing and cataloguing the items in my collection. I always said "Another time", I'll at least print out the paperwork and when I get around to it, I'll make a list. This turned into days, weeks, years,,,, NEVER!
Hopes to recall all the different types at the next coin show always brought panic. While duplicates are always welcome, they were not the plan....
With the extra time around home, I put efforts into making a portable, digital solution so I could always have my collection at my fingertips.
With that, this site was born. As I approached completion, and my efforts exceeding my expectations, I realized, it would be nice to share my efforts.
While simplistic in design, Aeternitas Collections provides a powerful way to view and manage your collection of ancient coins.
It provides categories "ERAS" to be collected:
- Roman Republic
- Imperatorial Period
- Roman Imperial
- Provincial
- Greek
Aside from displaying by ERA, you can drill down your coin collection "By Types",
- By Ruler/Moneyer
- By Mint
- By Denomination
- By Reverse

Each Checklist displays the subject and some information about them from Wikipedia and whether the subject is part of the collection or not, by displaying a CHECK or X Mark. This helps to quickly see which subjects you are missing! For the subjects whom receive a check mark, you can click the image to display the collection by that ruler.
When you're tired of adding your coins, awaiting a new Parcel, or just bored you can interact with your fellow Enthusists. Feel free to visit the Great Forum, which you can converse with fellow coin collectors, seek help for Attribution, and/or report general bugs, suggestions for improvement for Aeternitas Collections!
